Had a debt owed to Sterling/Kay Jewelers - Bought by a debt collection agency

Hi

I need some advice.  A collection agency bought my old debt from Sterling Jewelers/Kay jewelers...about 1300.00.

THe collection agency filed a lawsuit, but I paid the entire debt off before the court date so they canceled the lawsuit...

However, the old Sterling Debt still shows on my credit report as not paid, assigned to another lender.

How do I dispute this?
