It's been a few weeks since I've been on the site. I've been in the garden for a couple months and didn't want the temptation to break my resolve. I'm back one again looking for some advice. Since my rebuild started in October I've made great improvements. Transition and Equifax are now free of all collections. I still have one on Experian that I currently have a complaint filed against with the CFPB. Here's my issue. I have one credit card that has been open for four months, paid as agreed. I have a fingerhut freshstart account paid as agreed, which will be paid off this month since I've met the minimum required four months of on time payments. I know I still need two more cards to get the best scoring mix. I really want cap one but I had a charge off with them that's not yet a year old so I'm getting automatic denials. I really don't want to go the opensky or secured route since I don't wasn't something that doesn't have the potential to graduate. What other options are there? In addition to the cap one charge off, the only other derog I have left is a first premier charge off.
