Evening....my fiance and I just checked her credit and she has a 671 TU and 666 EQ scores. She never filed BK before. She has decreased her limits on some of her cards (which im thinking was bad for her credit right?). What should she be doing (I think you guys call it gardening) to help her gain more points? Should she seek higher limits on her cards? apply for another one (CK suggested an AMEX I believe). Any help is appreciated. I filed BK which has me more credit savvy these days so I want to make sure we are both on the right track..She is trying to trade her car in soon so its important that we do something to get her score up a few more points.
She has:
Capital One unsecured $500 CL
Wells Fargo Secured $300 CL
Walmart $500 (this is one she decreased)
Target $300 (decreased this one too)
